The Engineering Program Manager ensures projects, programs and
initiatives are completed in line with product and organizational
long-term goals and objectives; oversees and directs work of
cross-functional team members, advising team on projects, tasks,
timelines, deliverables and operations; communicates project/program
status, issues, results and business impact to local and senior
management; and maintains awareness of industry trends, business
conditions and internal processes and practices to ensure success of
projects/programs.
Responsibilities:
* Working with engineering and operations teams to create and commit
to program plans and delivery schedules.
*
Tracking and driving completion of key deliverables (proactively
gathering data, providing analysis and recommendations, acting as a
liaison to engineering executives, and following up on outstanding
items).
* Working with Business Intelligence teams to create ad-hoc reports
* Manage and maintain operational dashboards exposing goal and performance tracking
* Recommending and implementing continuous improvement of
project/program process, practices and initiatives.
* Maintaining awareness of industry trends, business conditions and
internal processes and practices to meet project/program delivery
requirements.
Skills & experience required:
* 5 years work experience in an executive administrative or program management capacity
* Demonstrated ability to interact with highly technical people.
* Strong leadership skills in a highly cross-functional setting.
* Strong meeting management skills.
* High attention to detail, bias for action and ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing business and organizational needs
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
